One Kind Act announce our Turkey and Syria Earthquake Disaster Appeal.
This week, a devastating earthquake hit parts of Turkey and Syria, and the stories we have witnessed in the news in the last few days have been very distressing.
Our team at One kind Act would like to extend our support and send our deepest sympathies to everyone affected. We cannot even begin to imagine what they all must be experiencing through the shock, the uncertainty, the freezing cold and the lack of all basic essentials.
Wanting to help the relief effort immediately, we have pledged £5,000 to go towards essential items that Your One Wish, one of our Causes who are busy coordinating to reach the affected areas as speedily as possible. They are sourcing the most needed essential items like blankets, coats, boots , baby foods etc and setting up delivery chains to send these supplies urgently to the most vulnerable.
