Meal for a Meal
One Kind Act are proud to announce our new Appeal — ‘Meal for a Meal.’
At One Kind Act, we believe that every meal shared can help someone else eat today.
Through Meal for a Meal, you can turn your moments of joy into acts of kindness — simply by hosting a meal at home or dining out with friends and donating towards feeding those in need.
Your support will go towards OKA Food Programmes, helping us fund community meals, hunger relief programs, and food support initiatives through our partner charities:
London’s Community Kitchen
NishkamSWAT
Organising Food For London
These incredible organisations work year-round to fight food insecurity, provide nutritious meals, and bring dignity to those most in need.
How to Host a Meal for a Meal
Hosting a Meal for a Meal is simple and meaningful:
1️⃣ Host a meal — at home or dine out with your friends, family, or colleagues.
2️⃣ Donate — contribute any amount towards the Meal for a Meal appeal on OKA’s website. (Even £10 can provide a meal for someone in need.)
3️⃣ Share your kindness — post your meal moments on social media, tag @okacharity, and use #MealForMeal so we can celebrate your generosity and count your contribution as part of the movement.
Every meal shared here helps ensure someone else doesn’t go hungry.
What Your Support Achieves
Your contribution helps:
Provide daily meals to vulnerable individuals and families
Support OKA’s partner charities working to combat hunger across London

Together, we can turn simple meals into meaningful change.
With Your Support, We Can Ensure…
