30 November 2016
OKA supporters Seema Khindria, Pria Prakash, associates Naina and Neena organised a makeup demonstration morning with tea and cakes followed by lunch with bubbly in November 2016.
A makeup artist renowned for her work with celebrities and glossy magazines gave tips and demonstrated different ways make up can result in younger, fresher, natural and glamorous looks.
Fifty women mostly from Maidenhead gathered to relax, giggle and occasionally gasp at the transformation well applied makeup can result in.
There were hand crafted festive Christmas gifts, homemade brownies, cakes and flapjacks, jewellery for sale with proceeds going to OKA.
As the event was in Maidenhead, money raised was used to buy a fridge freezer to store fresh food to feed up to 200 homeless in the local area.
This event is a make up workshop by makeup artist, Sammy Leigh.
There will also be stalls supporting OKA, selling a variety of Christmas gifts, hand knits, cakes, jewellery and Forever Living products.
