Tropic skin care are a multi award-winning, vegan, cruelty free beauty brand that are as kind to the planet as to our skin.
One Kind Act, with the shared ethos of kindness, joined forces with Hasmita Zaveri to host a fund raising pamper evening at Associate Ritu Soni’s home.
There was much delight at the wonderful, natural fragrances of the products, a sense of pampering as women tested the offerings and many converts to the idea of chemical free, kind skin care made in a Surrey kitchen.
Food and drinks were in abundance and a raffle was held to win a coveted hamper of Tropic products.
£225 was raised which will go towards The Real Junk Food Project’s new initiative in Harrow.
The Real Junk Food Project is an exciting, forward thinking idea that deals effectively with the problem of huge food waste from supermarkets. They collect unsold food that would have been thrown away and offer it on a pay what you feel basis to deprived, struggling families. Desperate families can help themselves to groceries or eat in the café for as little as they can afford and supermarkets do not waste a mountain of perfectly good food. A win-win situation!
