On world kindness day a group of ladies decided to have an ethical catering event. Not only to raise money needed for the various projects but also to show how zero waste can create zero hunger.
Taz from The Real Junk Food Project cooked a delicious meal from rescued food . From delicious canapés to main course and wonderful desserts , a range of ethically catered food was presented.
The money raised from the event was £750.00 and One Kind Act doubled the amount raised on the night to reach a total a £1500 which will go towards their many projects.
Thank you to all the lovely ladies who supported the event. And a special thank you to Taz , Michelle and Viv for creating a wonderful evening of love for the food we receive and the greatest gift :the gift of giving back.
